MEET JOHN
John Brackett is the owner of Iron & Alder Contracting and brings over 20 years of hands-on construction experience in Southern Oregon.
His background includes commercial remodels, tenant improvements, and long-term maintenance, often within occupied spaces where coordination, timing, and accountability directly impact operations. John’s experience is grounded in the field, shaped by decades of real-world problem solving and leadership on job sites.
John grew up in construction, served four years in the United States Marine Corps, and later spent 13 years with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. These experiences continue to inform how he leads by bringing discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility to every project.
Known for his attention to detail and clear communication, John believes trust is earned by doing the work right the first time and standing behind it. Under his leadership, Iron & Alder operates with a simple standard: no shortcuts, no excuses, and no compromise on quality.
